help you create your wedding vision. We make the connections, you make the decisions
and our work is done. We charge
a flat fee based on the number of hours that will be required to help you make
the right connections for your wedding as opposed to a wedding planner who will
charge 20 to 30% of your total budget. We always stay in touch with you by phone
and email to make sure everything’s on track. We
will help you find the right venues for your ceremony and reception, the best
caterers, bartenders, florists, cake bakers, musicians, limos, photographers and
videographers, hair and make-up stylists to fulfill your wedding dreams. You
will have contracts with the vendors you’ve chosen and will pay them directly
so you know exactly where your money is going. We will provide you with forms
so that you can keep track of when deposits are due and can record when you pay
them. We will do everything to make planning for your wedding as simple and enjoyable
as possible. You will notice we have provided a wide variety of extras to make
your wedding exceptional. We’ve even included a section for the often forgotten
and very important groom. Wedding

the choice of beach, plantation, manor house, historic buildings, gardens, chapels,
churches and some really unique venues - almost anything you can dream of. We

If your dream is a wedding on the water there are boats available including a
tall ship. Whatever you envision we will find the perfect setting to fulfill it. It’s
important to book your venue as much ahead of time as possible since Charleston

Flowers
We have chosen a florist who is imaginative and creative with
a flair for fulfilling your wishes. She will give you the meaning and description
of each flower and will write a detailed list of everything that she will use
to create what you desire. The only surprise will be that your flowers will look
more wonderful than you have imagined. She will do your bouquet, your attendants
bouquets, flowers for the mothers and attendants, boutonnieres for the groom,
best man and groomsmen, petals for your flower girl, table top arrangements, flowers
for décor using the best available.
The
Décor
Anything you envision can be created. Your wishes can be
translated into the perfect setting for you on your special day. If you don’t
know exactly what you want our designer will discuss the possibilities and come
up with something to delight you. Draping, lighting, additional furniture, china,
linens, trees, branches, candelabra, crystals, fountains and even more will be
created for you. If you desire it, it will be done.
Photography
We
have chosen a photographer for his photojournalistic style and his ability to
capture wonderful playful moments and special looks exchanged at precious times
during your preparation, your ceremony and at your reception. He will photograph
memorable times between couples, with parents and friends so you can relive this
wonderful day over and over again.
The
Cake
Specially selected bakeries make a wedding cake that not only tastes
really good but also delights the eye and is an important part of the décor.
As a stunning visual it carries out the theme and feeling of your wedding for
all to see. Groom’s cakes can also be created. Flavors, colors, shapes, decorations
are all waiting to be made into a fabulous wedding cake.
The
Invitations
Since this is the first visual representation of your wedding
that your guests will see. It is important that the designer has a flair for translating
your personality, style and theme onto beautiful, quality paper, the color, weight
and design that says it all.
Music
The
sound of your wedding is as important as the décor. We have found a wonderful
harpist, guitarist, a bagpiper and duos, trios and DJ’s to weave their magic
into your day. Your music will be the reflection of the theme, feeling and presence
of your wedding.
Dance Instruction
All
eyes are on you as you dance your very first dance as a married couple. Have fun
while you are learning so you can wow the crowd. Choose an elegant waltz, a romantic
rumba, a sexy salsa or any other of your favorite dances. Even if you have two
left feet you can learn to look good out there with just a few lessons.
Food
Charleston
is known for its great food. Whether you choose a traditional Oyster Roast, Lowcountry
cuisine of shrimp and grits, Asian fusion or more traditional fare, there are
caterers here to fulfill your culinary dreams. You can choose buffet, sit down
or waiters passing heavy hors d’ouevres. Charleston Wedding Concierge matches
you with the right caterer for your budget, with the best food and service to
make your reception even better than you envisioned.
The
Ceremony
With
Custom Wedding Ceremonies you will have a ceremony that is unique to you and your
fiancé .We will meet with you and find out how you met, what drew you together,
what’s important to you as a couple and then incorporate that information
into your ceremony. We will include any favorite passages, poems, lyrics or ceremonies
within your ceremony such as: The Unity Candle, The Honey Ceremony, The Kiss of
Peace, The Sand Ceremony or anything that would be special to you both. The first
draft will be sent to you to add/change anything you like. We will email back
and forth until the ceremony feels like its what you really want.
On
your wedding day we will be there ahead of time to make sure everyone is on schedule
and in place. Then we will cue all the entrances and the music. We will perform
the ceremony and the signing of the license after which we will file it with the
State of South Carolina. You will be given your own copy after it is signed.
The
Rehearsal
We will choose the best entrance for you and your attendants
and we will create a way to protect it until you are ready for your walk to the
altar with your father or other companion. We will find the best entrance for
the groom and the groomsmen and will plan the seating of the grandmothers and
mothers. We will cue everyone’s entrance and when necessary we will also
cue the musicians when to begin. There will be run throughs until you feel comfortable
and everyone knows what is expected of them so you, your fiancé and your
wedding party can be relaxed and enjoy your wedding day.

The groom often gets forgotten in the whole wedding
process so we’ve found some great ways to give him, his groomsmen and friends
some special attention. Golf
In
Charleston there are innumerable golf courses designed by some of the best golf
course architects in the country. Charleston courses are special in that you can
have an ocean view as you play. We would be more than happy to arrange a special
golf package for the groom, his groomsmen and friends.
Fishing
Fishing
is year round in Charleston and there are several kinds of fishing tours for the
groom and his friends. Let us know when you’ll be here and we’ll let
you know what kind of fishing is available during that season so we can book a
tour that will please and delight the heart of a fisherman.
Cigar
Evenings Cigars
are hot now (pun intended) and cigar events are in. There are
cigar wrapping
and smoking parties. There are special tented events where you can sit in luxury
and enjoy cigars matched with the spirits that best complement them. You’ll
learn about the history of cigars as well as enjoy smoking some that have been
wrapped right before your eyes. Let us arrange a special cigar night for the groom
and his party. And as gifts for the groomsmen there are unique cigar boxes that
we can customize to your choice.
